Omega 3 Review

Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to have several health benefits including:
-improving cardiovascular health
-preventing arthritis and reducing inflammation
-preventing eye diseases
-mental health and preventing cognitive decline

A multi-year Dutch study published in 2010, for example, showed a 62% lower risk of fatal heart attack in people consuming even a modest amount of EPA and DHA (about 234 mg per day) from fish as compared to those consuming little (about 40 mg per day)

So how do your supplements compare?
The following Omega-3 Supplements contained the claimed amounts of bioactive Omega-3 (EPA & DHA) and also passed the purity and freshness tests. None contained detectable levels of toxins:                (*indicates better bang for the buck)
